As an inland city located in the northeastern part of Gyeongsangnam-do, Miryang is situated between Busan and Daegu. With the high-speed train (KTX) station, Shin (New) Daegu-Busan Highway and the extension of the national highways 24 and 25, it has emerged as a transportation hub in the Yeongnam region connecting with Changwon (34.3km), Ulsan (77.1km), Busan (79.1km) and Daegu (85.4km).
